Do your little ones love the characters from Beatrix Potter’s beloved storybooks? Mine most definitely do and this matching game is something easy to make that is also fun to play! Matching games can help children develop concentration, problem-solving, and hand-eye coordination skills and everyone has great fun – grown ups too!
Start by downloading the PDF and printing the pages. If you have thicker paper, like card stock, watercolor, or multi purpose art paper, the cards will be sturdier for little hands. Next cut out around the squares of each picture (kids can find this an engaging activity with their kids scissors). If you have a laminating machine, it’s great to laminate the cards for stability and keeping them clean.
Feel free to use these Beatrix Potter memory cards and images as they are in the Public Domain. I hope you enjoy this activity with the little ones in your life! It would be lovely if you could like this post to let me know if it is helpful and fun so I can make others similar to it. Thank you.
