Free Printable Classic Winnie The Pooh Birthday Invitation

When I was growing up my mother would buy birthday invitations that she would fill in with my birthday party details and send them out to my friends and classmates. It was very old fashioned, not only with the write in invitations, but the party as well. She would always host it at home with a homemade cake, games like Pin the Tail on the Donkey, and a small favor bag with a homemade goody for each child. It was simpler than many parties of today and the total number of children invited was less so my mom could manage the party, but it was great FUN! All of the kids had a wonderful time and I remember my mom’s efforts to this day.

So whether you are hosting your party at home, at the local park or a fun party place, here is a free printable Classic Winnie The Pooh Birthday Invitation. You can change the print settings to make it the size you prefer and I would recommend printing it out on a thicker paper. You can get art print paper such as PPD Inkjet Canvas 100% Real Printable Cotton paper and PPD Inkjet Watercolor Matte Giclee Fine Art Archival Printer Paper. But even the paper from a kid’s sketch or watercolor pad would work nicely.

As I mentioned in my previous post the first two Winnie the Pooh books illustrated by E.H. Shepard are in the Public Domain now, so you can use this card as the image is taken from there. I hope it gives you joy to sit and write all the details by hand, maybe even enlisting the help of the birthday child to draw a picture on the back. It can become a fun activity that helps build the anticipation for the big day. Have fun and enjoy your party!
